Custer Restaurant Week, February 27- March 2, is the perfect time to get out and try some of the unique cuisine that Custer has to offer.  There are 8 great restaurants participating this year, Buglin’ Bull, Black Hills Burger & Bun Co., Dakota BBQ, Pizza Mill, Pizza Works, Laughing Water Restaurant at Crazy Horse Memorial, Skogen Kitchen and The Custer Wolf. These restaurants will be featuring special menus that will be available for dinner.  In addition, Pizza Works, Pizza Mill, Laughing Water and Buglin’ Bull will be offering special lunch menus as well.

Along with the fantastic food, a variety of entertainment options will be available during Custer Restaurant Week as well!  Whether you go out before or after you eat, there are plenty of exciting options to keep you busy!

The Custer VFW Post #3442 will be holding a Trivia night on Thursday from 6:00pm – 8:00 pm.  Grab your friends and head on down to show off your knowledge.

Calamity Jane Winery and Mercantile will be hosting the musical stylings of Bob & Steve on Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm and Allen and Jill Kirkham on Saturday from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm.  In addition to their everyday beverages, they will be offering wine tasting special for Restaurant Week. They will also be offering food items, that are a new addition to their business.

Laughing Water Restaurant at Crazy Horse Memorial will be doing a Winter Count craft from Wednesday through Saturday from 11:00 am – 7:00 pm.  Winter Count is a pictorial calendar or history in which tribal records and events were recorded by Native Americans in North America. Most Native American tribes measured a year from first snow to first snow. This will be a great way to learn about Native American culture and create your own Winter Count.

The Custer YMCA has an exciting time planned for kiddos in Kindergarten through fifth grade on Friday night while parents are enjoying a well-deserved night out! This event, accurately named Parents Night Out, costs only $10 per child and is available from 5:00 pm – 9:30 pm. Space is limited, so get signed up today by contacting the Custer YMCA at 605-673-5134!
