Glen Erin Horse Camp is built by horse people for horse people.

Welcome to Glen Erin Horse Camp! Our primary goal; is to provide the horse camper with a positive and enjoyable camping experience in an "off-the-grid" atmosphere only 6 miles from Custer, SD the "off-the-grid"

The "off-the-grid" camping atmosphere is enhanced by location and design.  We are situated on 40 acres, surrounded by fenced, US FOREST SERVICE LAND, on partially wooded, pull-through sites, 100 feet apart, and utilities (50/30 electric, water, sewer hook-up, and WiFi).  Trails on the east side of Custer are easily accessible and well-marked.  The camp was designed by three horse campers with over 20 years of horse camping, building, and maintenance experience.  Camp design is based on informal feedback from horse camp planning guides published by the USFS.
