Holiday Geocaching Fun at Custer State Park!

Get ready for a festive adventure! Join us for our Geocaching Ornament Event during the Festival of Trees, December 1st through January 1st!

Explore Custer State Park with a holiday twist! Check-in at the Visitor Center to receive your starting materials, then use GPS coordinates and hints to find ornament components around the Visitor Center. Return to the Visitor Center to build your unique mountain goat ornament!

Remember to bring your GPS unit (limited available for checkout) and dress for outdoor weather! Cell phones are also encouraged for use as a GPS.

Visit the Visitor Center daily from 9am-4pm to participate. Limited to one ornament per participant.

There is no fee for this activity, however, a park entrance license is required, available for purchase at the Park Office or Visitor Center.

Note: We're closed Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
