Custer Off-Road Rally in beautiful
Custer, SD!
Pack up your off-road vehicles and enjoy the trails of the Southern Hills at the Custer Off-Road Rally
June 12-14, 2026!
Bring your ATV, UTV, Jeep, or Dual Sport and enjoy the beautiful Black Hills.
There will be a poker run, a Mayor’s Ride, a President’s Ride, Happy Hour Saturday evening, and more!
Ride HUNDREDS of miles of beautiful Southern Black Hills trails!

Online registration has closed. In-person registration will be available on Friday, June 12, from noon to 5 PM, and on Saturday, June 13, from 7:30 AM to 9:30 AM. Both registration sessions will take place at the Custer County Search and Rescue headquarters, located at 1073 Montgomery St. If you have any questions, please call the Chamber at 605-673-2244.
Non-Resident Off-Road Vehicle Permit Application
Non-residents of South Dakota need to obtain a permit to operate an off-road vehicle on the state's streets and roads.
Motorized Vehicle Use Permit
A Motorized Vehicle Use Trail Permit is required for any motor vehicle traveling on motorized use trails in the Black Hills National Forest in South Dakota. These can be purchased at many local vendors or online.
