Natures Ninja Warriors

near Custer, SD

Kids train like nature’s greatest ninjas while mastering essential outdoor and naturalist skills! In this hands-on, 6 week adventure, kids build balance, physical strength, and sensory awareness as they learn to move silently through the forest like a fox, stalk like a bobcat, and spot hidden wildlife most people walk right past. Every session is a new challenge and lesson about how nature is full of ninja warriors that use the stealth and skills of a ninja to survive.

Beyond physical challenges, students cultivate real academic and scientific habits: developing field journaling techniques, learning spatial mapping, practicing quiet observation in dedicated "Sit Spots," and analyzing the hidden survival strategies of regional wildlife.

With a perfect balance of structured learning time for real-world biology, naturalist skills, and unstructured safe forest exploration, your child will gain confidence, self-discipline, and a deep, active relationship with the natural world.

The dates and times for this program are Thursdays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on November 12th ,19th, (One week off for Thanksgiving break is here) and  December 3rd, 10th, and 17th. November 5th from 11 am to 12 noon will be an optional meet-and-greet for parents and students, including a tour of the property and getting to know the instructors and each other.
