Sunset Hike
Join a Custer State Park naturalist for a special evening hike as the sun sets over the prairie. This easy, 1.5-mile loop offers beautiful views and a peaceful opportunity to experience Custer State Park as daylight fades.
Please come prepared: the trail offers very little shade, so bring plenty of water and wear sturdy, comfortable hiking shoes.
There is no fee to participate. However, a park entrance license is required and may be purchased at any park entrance gate or at the Visitor Center from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
